Exciting things are happening....

Exciting things are happening at the Liberty Godparent Home!  Over the last few months, we have been busy ensuring that we are being excellent stewards of what God has entrusted to us and evaluating where this ministry is headed.  Oh wow.... what a journey it has been.  It seems that every way that we turn, we feel God's hand on this ministry and know that great things will continue to happen.

One huge and inviting change has been that FLS (our partner ministry) has settled into the LGH building... bringing both ministries under one roof.  To read more about the move, please visit the FLS blog.

Thank you for your continued support and prayers for the LGH/FLS ministry.  God is doing amazing things within these walls!

No sin goes unpunished, but God blessed me. I have obtained a miracle.

The following is written by a young ladies that recently completed our program.  Katie has such a sweet spirit and we are excited to watch her grow in the new role of Mom.

No sin goes unpunished, but God blessed me. I have obtained a miracle.

Motherhood at a young age is what I face. My miracle is soon to arrive. Choices made; sorrow obtained. I reach for my true Father's hand, for I am troubled. My happiness comes with fear; overwhelmed is my heart. Anxiety, tears, excitement, anticipation, and abandonment stare into my eyes. I acquire strength. Yet, I still long for acceptance, forgiveness, and support I forever I ask. Disappointment from my loved ones; guilt overflowing. I apologize for punishing you for my mistake. I hold no regrets. God has His plan for me. Burdens are of no existence. I am being carried, as are you. This is the time I long for your embrace. My aspirations are granted with not only my Maker's comfort, but with the words from you. Saying when all of this is said and done you will be the greatest mother to this miracle and you will forever obtain my love. Because once I was expecting you, as my miracle to arrive. You are my daughter I will always claim.
